Geosim Open Eclipse simulator of Geoquest |
Eclipse is a leading industry-standard simulator. The current
implementation is with Eclipse 100 via the Open Eclipse
architecture. Refer to Eclipse 100 Reference Manual for the
description of features and options. Specific features, which are
relevant to GEOSIM coupling are:
· Temperature model. Necessary for most problems involving water
injection
· Tracer option which is utilized for damage calculations
Current Eclipse version of GEOSIM supports time-step explicit
stress model coupling, stress-dependent permeability effects,
dynamic fractures and damage modeling.
